Core Calendar is used by signing in on your phone with the account you created — there is no separate web login. The steps below describe exactly how to delete your account, and how to delete specific pieces of your data without deleting your whole account, both done from within the app itself.
What gets deleted: your sign-in credentials, your personal profile, and your membership in your family group.
What is retained: shared family content — calendar events, lists, recipes, and meal plan entries — is not deleted, because it belongs to the family group as a whole and remains visible to your remaining family members after you leave. This mirrors how the app works day to day: anything added to a shared family calendar is, by design, shared with that whole family, not owned by any one member alone.
If you'd like your family's shared data deleted entirely (for example, your family is disbanding the account altogether), email core.calendar.app@gmail.com from the account's registered email address and we will delete it on request.
You don't need to delete your whole account to remove individual pieces of content you've added. These are all available directly in the app:
Open the event, tap Delete. Recurring events give you the option to delete just that occurrence or the whole series.
Swipe or tap into the item, then Delete. This applies to shopping lists, individual list items, saved recipes, and meal plan entries.
Go to Profile, tap your photo, and remove or replace it.
Go to Profile → Connected Calendars and disconnect it. This stops any further syncing and removes the events that connection had added.
